sounds good to me
Me and Dan went out for the first time yesterday to burr. We caught a bunch of pickerel and a few largemouth. Two rock bass and a perch. The fish weren't much for size but it was a nice trip.
I've caught perch here, plenty of time, not much in the way of bass though. might have been to worm for them to be really active.when i was ther in 07 that had cut back alot of brush from around the boat launch area to make shore fishing more acessable.we usually got there in our canoe too.
I did not think this lake had alot to offer until July 28th 2007 when I pulled in a nice 5 pounder. It is hard to reach alot of the good lcations from shore because of the foliage- if you do be ready to lose a few lures to the trees. You can get anywhere on the lake with a canoe, which you can rent right at the park.
Fishing, hiking, swimming, an entire day of fun. A great place to bring family and friends. Complete with restrooms and a refreshment stand.
Here's a hiking map of the pond from CT DEP:
