• We had the most luck fishing with muddler minnows and black ghosts. Also had success using green and white wholly buggers. Stay below the surface this time of year. Blue winged olives and other mayflies could be a good option as well.

• Used a tan caddis #14 or so size. Such a small fish, probably not even worth recording, but oh well at least got something. Took quick photo and let em go.

In fact when i realized that a huge bass was hitting my sunfish and the hook was too small to catch it, i rigged a bigger hook threw the fish back out and pulled in a 5-7lb bass. It was the 5th fat bass for summer 2009
• very basic, traditional techs..and I never use a bobber. that way I come out with either a lmb or catfish in this spot, its a win-win situation :)
