Conn. River Stripers

Hit the Conn. River at dusk to fish for stripers with my good friend Todd. It was slow at 1st with only a cojuple shorts and some decient bluefish in the mix. Just as the sun started to set the bigger fish moved up to feed on Bunkers and it was ON. WE boated 5 keepers, a half dozen shorts and another 6-8 bluefish in little over an hour. Lost a really good one when she straighened out all the hooks on both trebles on my fresh water spro swimbait i was using. hahaha.
