second trip to the pond and things were very diffrent. We had a great day, with my partner catching his biggest ever a 4.4 lb chain pickeral. There was a 3lb bass that he also got. I had a few nice bass over a pound and a 2.4 lb pickeral myself. From a boat or yak things are much better. Still waiting to see some trout.....
I got no bites at this lake but it is very shallow. I think with a boat i would have had some diffrent luck but the water looks very clean, not brown like the rest of the lakes in the area. This is one of the few in niantic that i will be going back for a second go around.
caught some nice bass out of here, but don't use shinners, the turtles will drive you crazy
