a few of us got together from another ct fishing site to floattube the upper housy.it was a long day for me.about a 200 mile trip to get there and home again.i left the house at 4:45 and got there at 7 am,found the place no problem, the water was high we were going to start at the power plant in falls village, but due to the high water and rapids we started down stream.we drifted to the rt. 7 bridge in an hour and a half.i missed 3 fish,a few others landed a couple.we decieded to do another drift to the covered bridge in west cornwall.for most of the drift, nothing for a bite,we had a few small rapids.near the end a few were starting to pick up some.just as the covered bridge came into veiw i landed an 18 inch brown.the only fish for me on the float.it ended up being the biggest.to end the day,we had a cook out.it was a perfect day,but the fish gods were not smiling on us.but the company a food were good.ended up getting home
