One fish only day Ct river

went to the ct river and ran up the salmon river. Pulled one 2.8lb brown trout that hit on a firetiger flatrap. Had another hit just a min before which was much harder, but never got to set the hook and never saw the fish. Otherwise a beautiful day on the river, and great weather until the sun went down and the wind came up.

I left good fishing at the outflow to try out the Salmon River. Caught nothing, though I spent most of the 2 hrs picking my way through the cove and back at low tide.
