I went hunting today with Amanda. We got a late start this morning. We did not get into the woods until 8:00am. At first the woods were quite, not a single gobble. So we moved to the other end of the property at 10:30. This paid off with a tom sounding off. We worked this bird for about an hour. He never got closer then 100yrds. Then we heard hens with him. The game was over us. We ran out of time and it is very hard to compete with the real thing.
