Hit the same spot this morning under better conditions. Walked in alone! My father and another guy also went in to the south of me. As soon as I got into the "woods" all I could hear was gobbling, there were at least 4 different birds which were probably still up in roost? Im guessing. Figured today was the day, my first turkey, but I was wrong. Stayed from 5:30-10 and headed out. Saw two deer and a coyote and like I said, heard a sh!t ton of birds but none of them showed their faces.
