Hit Black Pond for a couple hours (3:30-5:30). Fished for trout the first hour. Caught only Blue gills, so then switched to bass fishing. I tried the black buzz bait, minus one, rapala crank bait (4' diver), and the big foot frog on the lilly pads. Had one follow, but no bites at all before wrapping it up. Took some pictures of the pond for anyone interested. Wish I had more to report.
The state started stocking Channel Cats in Lake Wintergreen 14"-18", All others 9"-12". Maltby Lakes, Quonnipaug,Pattaconk Lake,Silver Lake,Black Pond in Meriden. Now we have to wait abit for some size. Nice pictures of the pond.They stocked them last spring.
