I'm looking for a place that is good for fishing for bass in a kayak. Maybe somewhere with a motor restriction or something like that because I want to relax while I fish not bounce in another boats wake.
A good place to go is Batterson park in Farmington/New Britain. Large mouth, smallies, and walleye. I usually take my canoe out and have had plenty of luck. Some small fishing boats electric motors only. Another good spot is greathill pond in portland cartop access only. Decent bass fishing.
I wish I could suggest something for you but I've only had mine for a couple of months now and have been fishing the Connecticut River almost exclusively.Been wanting to check out that Batterson Park Pond though.
