We did get one earlier in the season but the Res has been slow for walleye. Met my dad down there a little after 6 and was greeted with a 5 foot drop in water and as i was walking down to my spot i said dad im getting a walleye the water is down. Slip float with the shiner inches from the bottom just after the sun started to come up. She went just over 18 and put up a nice fight i forgot what a walleye feels like. Also landed a handfull of crappie again today. The crappie have been awesome the last few weeks and I dont think i have ever seen it like that down there. If anyoen is going down to the res and wants some company let me know pm and ill give you my cell.
