getting ready!!!

this morning mike and i went to state land to put up tree stands.we did mikes first,he set his up where he saw a nice 8 pointer last year.



from the looks he might be still there,


there were alot of trees in the area that were all tore up.from there we went down bottom,where i have been for 20+years to set mine up.there wasnt sign like where mikes stand is,but there never is.my are is more of a pass through spot which hasnt failed me yet,but there always a first time.
from there i headed over to my private land to set up my blind.this is my first time hunting from a blind





while on my way in i jumped 6 deer,the were not to spooky,i was able to get a few pics



i also had a small buck working the area

You guys must of worked up a sweat in today's mild weather.
I like the looks of the area you put the blind up in, I like stone walls

oh ya,it was warm.i ended up putting the air on in the truck!!
i have had good luck there,just sitting on the wall.so we will see if the blind gives me better luck or really screw it up,lol
