I live near the Naugatuck River were its stocked with salmon. I’m spin casting any ideas for lures I should be using?

Thomas Boyant I/4 oz., Cleo 1/4oz. wallmart sells packs of spinners (party colors) #3 blade that work well. Mepps works very well, rapala count downs. Remember to cut all but one hook off.

thanks sandflea I went out today again only had about an hour before it got dark. No luck today but I saw one bust on a bug on the top water about 10 feet from me it was cool.

We got to New York every year and use hooks and eggs that's it
I got a 25lb salmon that way

Not sure if fishing eggs is legal here in CT.
Not that I fish for salmon or know the regs, but for some reason, I don't think it's legal here.

If it is illegal you can opt for the fake ones,they come in flourescent colors,made by "Uncle Josh",they're popular in the midwest for salmon,trout and steelhead.They come in little jars.I think Walmart sells those too.

Caught A Few Salmon Last Year( 09). I Actually Caught Mine On A Yamamoto Senko. But My Boy Was Catchin Em With A Gold Colorado Blade.The One He Got Was A Monster. Ill Post That In A Few Days. Later

I have fished the naugy river and used pheobes. I haven't caught much there, maybe I should try harder next time.
