if you walk out from the boat launch,and head out at the 11 oclock direction and go all the way to the other side is where they pike fish.there is always a group out there.if you want to fish the dam side,you need to park near the park and walk in.the ice if any on the opposite side of the road from the boat launch is unsafe due to the water moveing under the road
