I have been watching the storms there and wondering how long its going to take to thaw out. Any chance there will still be hard water for opening day. I always loved river fishing in ct, that might be the ticket for early season if its still locked up solid.

Didn't think it would ever end, But I think we finally made the turn.
Eastern half of the state got slammed harder then the Western half for a change.
Seemed like we were getting hit at least once a week.
40's to almost 50 this week. With no storms in sight.
If this heat wave keeps up we may see the ground by early May.
Not so sure about opening day, There's talk about moving it up a week earlier.
