Fished the lower Connecticut River last evening from a 14 tin boat. We found fish from the DEP boardwalk down to the mouth of the Blackhall River. Biggest striper was measured at 33 inches, but we lost and spooked several fish that my have been bigger. Fish werwe holding tight to the bank on the outgoing tide.
Productive flies were Platinum Blonde, size1/0 and Gray white flat wing Deceiver. My buddy caught all his fish on a chartruese Closar.
