Snuck out of work around 3:30 yesterday for my first casts in northeast PA. Hit Lake Lackawanna for some shore fishing, supposedly lake has Walleye, Musky, LMB, Trout and the other usual suspects. Not even a bite. Was limited as to where I was able to fish as there is still ice covering 2/3rds of the lake. I plan to head back down this weekend and fish the bridge area of the lake. At least I got out, felt good to take a few casts and be outside on such a nice day.
Next time I'm out I'll try to take some pics of the lake. It's a nice setup, right in the middle of Lackawanna State Park. Definitely need a boat to take advantage of this lake though, can't wait to get mine down here and take her out but that won't be until next month as the boat ramps were closed and won't open until after trout stocking occurs on 4/1-4/3.
