Left the dock at daybreak this morning and after hitting a couiple of rock piles off Waterford with no success headed over to the Bartlett Tower.
A few birds were dipping along the rip, but no surface feeding fish were seen. Made several drifts on the outer reef using a full sinking line and a white/gray Pugalsi style baitfish pattern. Picked up a couple of small bluefish, but that was all.
As the tide started to turrn, headed to the inner reef. More bird activity signaled a few swirls, but no consistent feeding. A few more small bluefish liked tghe butterfish pattern I switched to. Back to the dock by 9.
Hopefully the inpending storm will turn things on...
