Fishing Derby
Reel in the fun at the Steven Hovarth Memorial Fishing Derby on Monday April 19, at Mixville Park, 1300 Notch Rd. in Cheshire. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. and fishing begins at 10 a.m. Bring all necessities, rod, bait, bucket, etc.
All children age 16 and under at welcome to be a fisherman for a day. There will be an awards ceremony for the largest fish; trophy presentation begins at 11:30 a.m.
