Started fishing about 6:30 this morning near Riverton. Picked up 1 fish on Caddis Pupa before the thunder starred. Continued fishing hoping the storm would pass by. No luck, thunder got closer and when I saw a flash it was time to get out of the river. Sat in the car for about 20 minutes hoping the storm would abate. Rain came down harder and the lighting flashes were more numerous. Changed and packed up and headed home. On the way down the river, I saw a number of anglers still fishing.
Standing in a stream waving as graphite stick is not condusive to good health.
Seeing anglers up to their waist in water with a graphite rod sticking up in the air during a lightning storm reminds me of the old song, "You light up my life"!
