My son and I spent last Thurs,Fri and Sat fishin on wifes cousins lake.Three day totals were 34 larries for Junior and 36 for me.All small fish,just couldnt find a big one anywhere.We pounded the banks with poppers,Senkos and spinnerbaits which worked well.Also fished DS out in deeper water and picked up several that way.Finally I decided to try a deep diving crankbait Sat morn and we got into some better fish.Got so tired of casting that it finally degenerated into putting the rod in the holder and trolling which I have never done before for bass.Typical assortment of calico,picks,perch and gills were also boated.We hope to get back up there in the fall.Finished off the weekend with family reunion party on Sunday.
