YETI Introduces Tundra Cooler for Boats
Austin, Texas: YETI Coolers, makers of premium, roto-molded coolers that are, "wildly stronger and keep ice longer", introduces a new 75-quart Tundra Series model. The new Tundra 75 is specifically designed to fit in the pre-fabricated, factory-mounted cooler brackets found either in front of the center console or under the leaning post of many boats. The Tundra 75 has the same overall outside dimensions (33-1/2" L x 18" W x 17-7/8" H) as traditional marine coolers commonly found on small to mid-size boats. The 75 Tundra is perfect for the serious fisherman or boater who desires a cooler upgrade without the worry and hassle of making adjustments to their mounting systems or unwanted deck penetrations.
Like all YETI coolers, the new 75-quart Tundra is a one-piece rotational-molded cooler. This is the same process used to make kayaks and results in dramatically superior durability compared to traditional coolers. The thicker walls on a YETI cooler are filled with 2" of premium insulation (the lid has 3" of insulation) which means dramatically superior insulating abilities as well.
Other YETI features include a T-latch closure system to keep the lid securely closed, a full-length integrated hinge system that will not fail, marine grade nylon rope handles that will not break, a leak-proof screw-in gasketed drain plug and a full-frame freezer quality gasket that seals around the entire lid. And, like every YETI, it's dry ice compatible.
According to Roy Seiders, president of YETI Coolers, "The main reason we added the YETI 75-quart Tundra to our product line was to address the requests we get from fisherman and boaters to provide something that would provide more storage and fit the same precise dimensions of the ordinary coolers that come standard on so many boats.
