I was getting a dog license at town hall yesterday and saw the 2011 angler and hunting guides. Nice glossy stock covers with glossy pages that gets tossed out every year because it's obsolete.
In times of financial cutbacks, layoffs etc. why did they increase the cost of these guides. The old newspapers style book was not good enough?? It served me well for over 40 years just the way it was, glad to see my license increase going to good use

Oh boy, don't get going on the Guides. Mine makes me sick to my stomach every time I open it. I downloaded the .pdf just so I won't have to. If you ask me, they should do a phone app or just have it for download. That would be the cheapest way I gotta think. Although the old style was good for having around to wipe your hands on or wrap a gutted fish in...
