took the canoe up from the occum dam against a pretty strong current , tried the normal spots in the center of the river where it splits along the right side where all the fallen trees are and did not have much luch , was using a Mighty Bug which up until this day had worked very well , moved down to the long cove in the backside of the river and switched to a 5 inch green punpkin senko with a 2/0 hook and caught one decent bass about 2 pounds and then went to the other cove on the other side of the river a few hundred yards up from the dam and put a live shiner on a landed a 5 pound largemouth ---made up for the soar arms paddling upstream [/b]
