• Connecticut weather has not been conducive to fishing, be it fish, water temperature flucations, barometer or anglers. There are plenty of fish out there just not being cooperative.
• Reports from local anglers on area waters:
• Coventry Lake was productive on a 5-7:30 p.m. troll Monday. Downriggers were set at 4 to 21 feet over depths of 15-35 feet, and trolled at 2.5 mph. Lures used were Kobra 103, DB smelt 41, 42 and copper/red. The surface temperature was 57 degrees (F). The two anglers boated five rainbow trout, lost three inbound and released a short walleye.
