Come to find out the knot in braid reduces the strength in the line by half. I see and spend a lot of time looking at knots and trying to maximize the strength in my setups. This is making regular mono a lot more attractive. I still love the handling of braid but this gives me an entire new prospective.

I'll laugh the next 20 times you are using mono on a hard jig set and you cant set the hook worth a darn. Haha.

there is no way I am giving up on braid, just a knowledge point. I may give the 20lb yo-zuri a try though. It will really depend on how it handles.
