I've been fishing for a few weeks and I've had pretty decent action using a heavy drop shot rig on the ct river. Cast it out as far as you can and wait for a bite. I have a small assorent if senkos and craw dads and power worms and stuff like that. None if them work. At all. Ill rig a 4" senko on the sAme exact rig and won't even get a bite. I go back to a live worm and they are all over it.
I haven't seen anyone have any luck with crankbaits, fake worms, spinnerbaits or anything.
Does it go with the territory or am I just not using lures and fake worms the correct way?
