Fished wethersfield cove for a short while yesterday afternoon for some bait. I ended up doin alright with some small perch, small sunfish, and a bunch of rivershiners.
I fished right off the barn in 6-15 feet if water about mid day, it seems the shiners are in shallower and the small perch and sunfish are out deeper
The tide was in making it look very sketchy getting on and off the ice but if you decide to go there follow the footsteps and you should be alright. I usually always wear my ice piks just in case of a weak spot!
