I like this lake. Caught plenty of bass and bluegill, a few pickerel and yellow perch, this year. Although there is a 16 inch minimum limit on bass and 18 inch minimum limit on walleye and a creel limit of two each.

I've heard mixed reviews about this lake but it is my favorite it never diappoints especially in the early morning hours.

Gardner Lake Description
The lake is natural in origin, though a 168 foot long earthen dam raises the water level 4 feet, bringing the average depth to 14 feet and providing a surface area of 529 acres. It reaches its deepest point at 39 feet near Minnie Island.
