This location sucked for the last time for me. I did manage one good bite next to the outflow, but i did not manage to land it due to a slopy texas rig. I was not getting bites at all, and i rigged a hula grub weightless, and thats how i got my only good bite. Shame it came off because i will never go back. This like Anderson pond is a pass because long-pond is right there, and if its to windy worth a trip somewhere else.
gave this pond another shot. Mostly went here due to the absence of people, which ment i could park right next to the boat launch. I put the nucanoe in the back of the minivan for the first time, and it was not so bad. I have used it may times on top, but i cannot lift it up there by myself without major problems. I also managed to keep all the mud out which was great. The fishing was slow, i got one .5lb LMB on a small keitech spider jig, and three rainbow trout. Lost one right next to the boat, and kept the other two. Ok day overall. All about 12".
