  • I use meal worms here, power bait, trout worms and lures. The fish bite here off almost everything.

  • usually top water baits invoke strikes over here. senkos and fin-s type baits work well too but only before the big milfoil bloom. after that they get so bogged down with weeds the fish cant even get at them.

  • Euro Crawler so not as big fit on the hook nicely.the on i got was about 11" and 2/3 of a #
  • good cove for pan fish.. a few time's last year

Rifle Range Pond Description

this is a small spot i used to go, but the area is littered with trash now, and i hardly catch anything there anymore, likely due to overfishing by the non-english speaking urban residents from nearby waterbury that keep everything they catch without any regard for the environment or the fishing quality of the lake. maybe itll bounce back.. the habitat is pretty good overall.
