Comment: I have been here only onece, and the smallmouth bite was decent. The biggest fish of the day gave me a head shake and swam away. I did not get a good look at it but most likely was a 1-2 lb smallmouth, condiering that all i caught this day. Biggest one i landed was right around a pound. The one i lost came out of the pool below the dam where the water is moving slower. There also looks to be an easy way to port around the dam on the same side if your planning a cannoe trip.
