I gave this place three stars even though i think it rates two, because i fished in the early spring before the bass bite realy turned on. Pulled one two pounder and a very small pickeral. This lake is very shallow over most of the south side, and the coves are very shallow and still full of weeds. It was a calm winter, which did not help. I dont think i would go back, with all the other options out there. The main reason i even tried this place was due to not having a closed season. |

I've fished this Lake a few times in the past and have caught some nice fish on the Northern end and a great topwater bite on the southern. Need to watch out for the raceing crews. If they fill up the parking lot with sight seers the Local PD will be happy to ask them to leave so you can launch. |
