Conditions were sunny, wind was low at first, but increased and changed directions. Activity from other fishermen was low. A couple fishing from shore next to the ramp. A lone kayaker and another pair of fishermen in a small john boat were the only others on the pond. Water murky, not clear like some of the other lakes in the area. Got out on the water a little late, about 9:00 am. Fishing from a kayak. Was pan-fishing with live worms, but not much success. Switched to 1/16 oz. white jig head with a chartreuse shadpole soft plastic. One perch and one pickerel about 50 yards from the boat ramp going counter-clockwise around the pond. Then worked over to the South end of the pond caught good size bluegill on a nightcrawler dropped down to the bottom. Worked way back to the boat ramp and caught one more good size bluegill on the chartreuse shadpole. Only four fish in about 2.5 hours, but better than nothing. Believe the bite would have been better earlier. Will definitely come here again.
