Was out on an Eastman't trip a couple weeks back, a marathon trip.
We did OK.
We found some haddock and a few Pollock early on the capt made a move and it was pretty slow for a few hours with several location changes along the way. The wind she was blowin, made fishing pretty tough. Near the end of the day, we ended up hitting a nice bunch of Pollock, and the wind had slowed finally . The one and only keeper cod of the trip was pool winner at 21 lbs.
Jiging was the way to go and it seemed the Lav jig with a Blue Cod Fly as a teaser was most productive.
Will be on a Charter the 21st in search of a Pollock slam, hope the weather cooperates
