I'm shocked to see you schedule anything a week in advance tbob you must have been a very good boy for the wifey to let you out to fish on the weekend.
You sure your back is up to such strenuous activity as ice fishing?? If you guys want to see something hilarious move the event to the middle of the lake and watch tbob attempt to shuffle his way all the way out there

Never tried ice fishing. I might have to just stop by and see what its all about. Besides, from reading this thread, it looks like it would be a hell of a time even without the fishing.

I sent a PM to both matts too. Skip and wiggler. Met wiggler at Mansfield and we have PMed one another in the last few weeks, so I would think he will come. Skip, I haven't seen post anything in a long time. Lung, you been in contact with him? I know you too have hooked up in the past. Hope he ok, maybe the new CAT is keeping him busy.

I know he said the rest of this month was pretty busy for him, so if you don't get a reply that's why.

Ok we got a place and time, but what are we doing for food? Are we going to just take care of our selves, or are we going to do it as a group? grills, I will have my small one, but its not big enough for a large group. We may need a few small camping size grills. I would think we would want to have our own drinks, but that's just me. I'll have enough for my self and my two boys. Anyway, let me know what you guys think. For all I know, I'm putting way to into this!

Oh we hit a small pond "Killingly pond" and we only had about 4 to 6 inches out there. A few spot felt very slushy and week. Is it possible for someone to go scout it out for us? I'd hate for all of us to travel all the way out there, just to find unsafe ice, or worse yet, open water!

I am gonna bring cheese,crackers and pepperoni to share but other than that not too concerned bout gettin involved with cookin and stuff like that....would rather fish and bullchit!...oh,and drink a little.
I have plans to go fish Cov wed late aft/evening for eyes so can check ice for us.I also will ask around before then to find out but would think all good to go.

7 A.M....DECIDE AS GROUP WHERE HOME BASE WILL BE...SO WE CAN ALL HANG TOGETHER WHILE WAIT FOR FLAGS TO POP...$10 POOL TIL NOON,HEAVIEST FISH(NOT MANDATORY TO GET IN IT)..I WILL BRING SCALE,PAD AND PEN TO RECORD AS FISH CAUGHT.
