Ill call the eastern DEP base to see if they are gonna plow it because that's a far walk in a lot of snow.
I would not suggest you mention a group gathering...keep it as a simple request for information.
More importantly the DEP has nothing to do with the access road being cleared.
Thanks Flea! I'm not too confident that it will be. Sounds like it's a long road, and if they have not touched it since a few storms ago, it will take a loader to clear it. Most town's snow removal budgets are empty, so I doubt they would spend the cash to clear it. But I have been wrong..................on occasion! LOL
Holebrook is unplowed even if we wanted to walk in there is no place to park. I drove by a few lakes/ponds with boat ramps all unplowed. Cedar Lake in chester has a parking lot across from the beach but a 4x4 would be a must. I could take some pics of the parking lot if there is any interest in fishing there. I think a 4x4 will be needed to fish almost anywhere.
