fish tape mod

looking all over the place for a good place to put my fish tape and not wanting to carry another thing that i did not have to, i have fianly settled on puting the sticker on my paddle. It is easy to get access to, and i have a strait model, so it fits perfectly on one side from blade to connection. I dont know how well it will stick onece it gets wet, but i like the idea at least. If all else fails i may use a paint pen to do the same thing if the sticker falls off.

you could put a couple of coats of clear exterior polyure­thane. or spar varnish to help protect it from getting beat up

that sounds like a very good idea, and i would do it, if i had not splurged on the carbon fiber paddle. i may add some packing tape but i dont want anything that may damage the expensive paddle.
