I agree that the weather looks to be improving, but if you really want to fish the river and you're trailering your boat from Brooklyn, there is a boat launch downtown in the Norwich Harbor.
Hopefuly it won't snow anytime soon.

I'll pass on the Norwich ramp. Really don't like the idea of parking on the street. When I got to the river, I use the Montville ramp. Puts you just about in the middle of the river. I will have to keep any eye on the marine forecast. I would prefer to hit the sound, but will use the river as a back up plan.
At one point today, they were calling for 1 to 2 foot seas in the afternoon. Hopfully it don't change again, unless they have a "glass" rateing!
