Ok,
I just had my third night of no fish a few hits. Have they all gone deep? I am open to any and all suggestions. I have been spin casting and Senko's no luck all from shore with no luck.

This time of year Senco only work if you have a real warm day and you move it very slow, I mean dead stick it, just leave it 2-3 minutes. If no takers real it in and cast again you have to just about hit them on the head. To catch fish now you best bet is to use your fish finder and mark fish at 20-40 feet the will be schooled up around structure. Use a Silver Buddy (a vertical blade bait) drop it straight down to the bottom and snap it up a few feet and let it flutter down and real a few feet and repeat until you reach the surface and start over. I have caught a lot or fish this way, if you set them on the fish finder you can catch them. Good luck and we will see you out there.

He's so right. It's silverbuddy time when it's this cold. On candlewood we've had good luck as well on dropoffs.

Had a great day today what a difference from the canoe to the shore makes. Not alot of wind but the rain was steady. Got soaked but caught a lot of nice fish.
