Anyone else heading there this weekend? I'm thinking of trying out my luck Saturday. I still need to hose test the 90hp, but it should be all set. A little birdy told me that the white perch bite was more predominate than the striper bite, but that he saw two seals in the harbor. The bait fish must be there. Just hope all the water we got the last few days hasn't swept them away.

I was there on the 7th Hertzy and got skunked, I thought I might run into some whities myself, but didn't, not did I see any caught either.
The harbor will have all week to flush out this past storm, you will be hitting just about prime time for the whities.
And yes the Birdy was right, I had a face to face encounter with a seal, he snuck up behind me

well I started the 90hp tonight. Took a wile for her to fire and stay running, but she ran and most important, she pumped water! Looks like Saturday's a go!!!!!!!

My brother has been fishing Norwich harbor and hammering white perch from shore. The boaters have been catching schoolies around the docks.

Hey ehertz, u said that u hose tested your motor? just be weary, when u hose test an outboard, it will pump water because it is being pressure fed. if you barrel test it, then the waterpump has a chance to draw the water and do its thing. ive had it happen to me. its not fun to launch then retreive right away cause i have no squirt!!
