Fished it for the first time today from 3:30-6:00 pm. Took my float tube, and walked from Chuck-E-Cheese. Worked around the shore, caught 4 LMB, from 0.5 - 1.5 lb, 2 small pike (one 12", the other 16"), and one very small SMB. Tons of vegetation in the water, used plastic senko worms and bait casting setup. As reported by another post, the amount of garbage is rediculous. |

If big fish is your thing than this is not the place. There is a lot of trash from carless people, and the western shore looks like people who are homeless squat here. I took my boy with me the first time, and its not a great location for kids. Looks like a lot of teen age kids hang out and drink beer leaving the containers where they finish. |
